At Rusnell Gunsmithing Service, we understand that your firearm should perform well, last a long time, and look good. Our refinishing services offer a way to restore and protect your firearm, giving it a fresh, durable finish that can withstand the rigors of use.

Types of Refinishing Offered

I will not be offering parkerizing services.

​• Bluing: A classic finish that provides corrosion resistance and an attractive, deep blue-black color. I don’t have the equipment for bluing yet, but it’s expected to be available in late 2024 or early 2025.

• Cerakote: A ceramic-based coating that offers excellent protection against abrasion, corrosion, and chemicals. Available in a wide range of colors. Cerakote is available by special order only. As a small business, I’m currently unable to stock a wide variety of colors.
